At this Vajra Assembly held at Karmę Chöling in the autumn of 2003, the Sakyong
presented an overview of the relationship between the teachings of Shambhala and
those of dzokchen, the Great Perfection. It was a practice-oriented retreat, with
many forms of guided meditation offered including shamatha yoga and
mahamudra. Within the context of a
Rain of Blessings feast, Rinpoche guided the
visualization practice and gave a commentary on the
Seven-Line Supplication.
The next day he presented
The Sadhana of Luminosity, offering a commentary on
the three roots and again guiding the group practice.

file on the first DVD. It is intended particularly for use in vajrayana practice
intensives and group study situations.
